Piscis

Beaneath the ocean’s fading green

lie reef and silver dunes,

where shellfish pillage pirate’s graves

and scuttle through the gloom

Below, the sunlight’s fiery wings

are distant waves of smoke

In lightless pools, unseeing eyes

of monsters haunt the murk

Beyond the warm, saltwater waves,

dust glitters, cold and hushed,

And through the bones of fallen stars

Swim tiny sparkling fish.
